Whether you have a severe toothache, a broken tooth, or a knocked-out tooth, our team works to get you seen as quickly as possible. We handle most dental emergencies right here in our office, day or night, and if your situation requires a specialist, we’ll point you in the right direction.
We never close. Call us at 2am, on a holiday, or on a Sunday afternoon. Dr. Dounel personally answers emergency calls and gets patients seen as quickly as possible.
We use digital X-rays and 3D cone beam CT scanning to get a complete picture of the problem before starting treatment. You'll know exactly what's going on before anything is done.
After your exam, we'll walk you through your options in plain terms. You'll understand what needs to happen now, what can wait, and what it will cost before we move forward.

Dr. Michael Dounel is the founder and lead dentist at New Smile Dental, with over 10 years of experience serving the greater Los Angeles area. He completed his dental training at Boston University and is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Patients regularly describe him answering the phone after midnight, coming in on holidays, and seeing patients within an hour of their call.
His areas of focus include emergency dentistry, dental implants, porcelain veneers, root canal therapy, and surgical extractions.
